Join the Wi-Fi CoE and help shape the future of wireless connectivity. You will contribute groundbreaking ideas to IEEE 802.11 and directly influence next-generation standards like Wi-Fi 9. Alongside a team of passionate Wi-Fi enthusiasts, you’ll drive the evolution of one of the world’s most impactful technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Have a leading role in Nokia’s IEEE 802.11 and/or Wi-Fi Alliance delegation, 

  • Develop novel concepts for Wi-Fi 9. Evaluate and promote your concepts in IEEE 802.11 and Wi-Fi Alliance 

  • Collaborate with other companies in IEEE 802.11 and Wi-Fi Alliance to develop the next generation Wi-Fi standard

Qualifications
  • PhD in EE, CS, Physics, or similar or MS degree and 10+ years of experience as Wi-Fi standardization delegate or extensive standardization experience

  • You are a recognized industry expert and have expert knowledge of Wi-Fi up to 802.11bn.

  • Proven track record of innovations and contributions to wireless standards

  • Experience in the use of link and simulation tools

  • You are enthusiastic about Wi-Fi technology and you are open minded and curious

  • Excellent communications skills and track record of working with product lines

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in the development of link or system simulators 

  • Good understanding of agentic workflows
