What success looks like in this role:
- Lead the end‑to‑end solution architecture for complex client engagements across hybrid infrastructure, cloud, security, automation, and modern workplace domains, ensuring alignment to Unisys architectural standards and client business outcomes.
- Own current‑state and future‑state architecture designs, including high‑level and detailed architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and design artefacts.
- Provide architectural oversight across design, transition, transformation, and steady‑state operations for managed services and project‑based work.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, engaging with senior client stakeholders to shape technology strategy, roadmaps, and transformation journeys.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and operable solutions, balancing technical excellence, cost optimisation, and risk.
- Support RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, scope expansions, and account growth initiatives through solution definition and value articulation.
- Ensure solutions comply with Unisys governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, vendor risk reviews).
- Review and approve architectural decisions through design authorities and solution governance forums.
- Identify technical risks and drive mitigation strategies through design changes or service improvement plans (SIPs).
- Lead or contribute to modernisation initiatives including cloud migration, platform standardisation, automation, SRE, FinOps, AIOps, and resilience improvements.
- Identify and propose cost optimisation, performance optimisation, and resilience improvements within client environments, even where execution is outside direct control.
- Create reusable solution assets, reference architectures, and best‑practice documentation to support organisational scale and reuse.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale, complex enterprise solutions in a managed services or systems integration environment.
- Strong background working with global clients, distributed delivery teams, and multi‑vendor ecosystems.
