This is a remote position.

A Crypto wallet security infrastructure provider are looking for a Principa Solutions Engineer (Permanent role - Remote).

 

They develop the most secure wallet-as-a-service infrastructure in Web3 : an API-first wallet management system, ideal for applications and organizations seeking to provide secure access to all blockchains through a single integration). APIs and SDKs were designed for wallet programmability and efficient implementations, enabling fast deployments, smart automation flows, as well as granular sets of permissions and policies via secure authentication credentials. They are on the way to become the leading wallet infrastructure for the multi-trillion-dollar digital asset industry. 

 

The company is SOC-2 certified, employs 30 people across 6 countries and has raised over $20M since creation with prestigious investors. Their solution is used and trusted by major international corporations.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will own critical projects while setting technical direction and ensuring the company's platform is fast, resilient, and secure. This is more than a coding role. You’ll make key architectural decisions, drive engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers. You’ll work with product, security, and leadership to align technical execution with company strategy and ensure our systems perform under the high-stakes demands of financial workflows


MISSIONS


  • Define and evolve architecture for databases, microservices, and integrations.
  • Own mission-critical projects end to end, from requirements to production and iteration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and reliability challenges at scale.
  • Drive improvements to CI/CD, observability, and engineering processes across teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape roadmap priorities and long-term technical vision.
  • Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and represent the company in client discussions.


Requirements
  • 10+ years of backend software engineering, with leadership in fintech or blockchain.
  • Mastery of TypeScript plus one or more systems languages (Rust, Go, C++).
  • Proven track record building scalable APIs, infrastructure, and developer platforms.
  • Deep expertise with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL) and cloud (AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and SSDLC.
  • Familiar with applied cryptography, PKI, and secure backend architectures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and ability to influence technical direction.
  • Knowledge of the crypto custody industry and its use cases is a big plus.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is also a plus.
