As Principal Software Cybersecurity Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Design and implement anti‑tamper protections and embedded cybersecurity frameworks for safety‑critical and secure product lines.
  • Lead secure software engineering activities including code analysis, requirements evaluation, architecture reviews, and interface design to ensure robust system security.
  • Develop, test, and debug secure applications using languages such as C/C++, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Support cybersecurity validation and testing efforts across diverse platforms including embedded systems, RF technologies, and advanced hardware solutions.
  • Build and maintain embedded Linux environments, including creation and customization of Linux distributions using embedded build frameworks.
  • Collaborate in a cross‑functional engineering environment using Agile methodologies and modern development tools.
  • Contribute to system hardening efforts and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.9+ years of experience in software development or cybersecurity, including 5+ years focused on application security or system hardening in a senior capacity.
  • Strong background in software and system analysis, including code review, requirements assessment, and secure design practices.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages for secure application development.
  • Experience working with Linux systems, including administration and development of embedded distributions.
  • Familiarity with modern development and collaboration tools used in Agile engineering environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an industry‑recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP).


Salary Range: $150,000 - $235,000

Location: Onsite in Westminster, CO

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
