Your future team
We are seeking a Principal Program Manager (Technical) to join our Program Management (Technical) Team. As a key member of this dynamic group, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of a portfolio of strategic programs in support of Atlassian's most complex and critical transformations.y.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the program strategy, roadmap, and timeline, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder.
  • Drive the execution of transformative central programs including program establishment, planning, resourcing, risk and issue mitigation, decision-making, and reporting as well as managing program scope, budget, and resources, ensuring effective allocation and utilization.
  • Define and refine the program transformation processes for end to end large-scale programs and adding those frameworks to the Atlassian system of working.
  • Accelerate transformations through risk and issue mitigation, timely reporting, and identifying/driving/influencing cross-functional velocity improvement initiatives.
  • Confidently partner with leaders and stakeholders- engineering, product, design, GTM and platform teams to drive prioritization, decision making and rapid execution.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among teams, stakeholders, and executives.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years leading large Program Management or TPM teams working on complex delivery or transformations.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand business objectives to translate them into technical programs.
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading complex, high-impact, technical, cross-functional programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Enterprise Capabilities (Scale, Security, Privacy) OR Managing compliance and dedicated environments OR driving significant product integrations and platform adoptio
  • A B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Discipline
  • Background in data analytics and insights, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $192,000 - $256,000
Zone B: $172,800 - $230,400
Zone C: $159,300 - $212,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
