At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $193,500 - $252,625
Zone B: $174,600 - $227,950
Zone C: $161,100 - $210,325
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

You will:
- Deeply understand our customers and their needs, and develop a strong point of view on how Identity and access management should evolve based on those needs
- Establish and evangelize a vision for the IAM offering, together with cross-functional partners
- Work closely with customers as they migrate from on-prem to cloud and help them maintain desired security posture
- Work across teams to navigate intersecting product roadmaps, keeping in mind both your team's strategy as well as the bigger picture of Atlassian products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, designers, and stakeholders, to define product requirements, features, and specifications based on customer feedback and market insights
- Drive the end-to-end product development process, taking an MVP / iterative approach to feature development and learning from what we ship
- Monitor and analyze business and user metrics to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement or optimizations
On your first day, we'll expect you to:
- Have 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 year on cloud security related products
- Tackle hard problems with intellectual rigor and curiosity
- Context switch from talking about the big picture all the way down to implementation details
- Dive deep into understanding our current product, both its capabilities and its constraints
- Communicate clearly and convey complex ideas to colleagues with both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Balance big picture evolution with quick wins, driving toward learning and impact at every step of the way
