Five9 is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our Agentic AI product management team, leading innovation in AI-powered self-service and automation experiences. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and execution of our Agentic AI products, positioning Five9 as the leader in delivering transformative, intelligent customer experiences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and execute the product strategy for Five9’s Agentic AI portfolio, aligning with company vision and strategic growth objectives.
  • Drive the evolution of next-generation AI-powered assistants to surpass traditional IVR/IVA capabilities, integrating LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and advanced analytics.
  • Conduct deep competitive analysis and act as the go-to expert on the conversational AI and agentic automation market landscape.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate strategy into actionable product requirements and prioritized features.
  • Develop product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to accelerate market adoption.
  • Partner with customers, ISVs, and ecosystem partners to gather insights, refine products, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Operate hands-on, moving seamlessly between high-level vision and detailed execution.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 9+ years in SaaS product management with expertise in Conversational AI, LLMs, NLU, ML, and RAG technologies.
  • Strong focus on user experience and integrating UX best practices into AI product design.
  • Proven record of leading successful product launches in AI or automation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including experience with beta programs, A/B testing, and user-driven product iteration.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with the ability to influence across global, cross-functional teams.

 

Work Location: This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office is required.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below.
$138,900$343,700 USD
