We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Pricing Analyst supporting our Sunnyvale campus. This position may be staffed as a Remote role from any Pacific Standard Time locations. Note that this will require travel to the Sunnyvale location at least once a quarter / 4 times a year.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • The Principal Pricing Analyst will lead Pricing activities within the Launcher Operating Unit in Sunnyvale, CA. Reporting to the Pricing and Estimating Manager of the Marine Systems Business Unit.

  • The Pricing Analyst supports various departmental business management and operations functions. They interact with personnel and management at all levels; interfacing and coordinating with other business management personnel on a daily basis.

  • The Pricing Analyst will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare, and support cost proposals to government and commercial customers, including reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications and adherence to company policy. Specifically, the Pricing Analyst will provide interpretation of RFP requirements and ensure Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance, ensure FAR/DFAR and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliance of proposals, and support proposals through the NAR/ICE and C101 corporate approval process.

  • The Pricing Analyst will provide reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management, prepare and present costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies. They will support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of pricing related experience or transferable experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of pricing related experience or transferable experience

  • Will consider 10 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.

  • Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARs

  • Experience analyzing and presenting information to various groups and levels of management.

  • Experience with RFPs and preparing and reviewing proposal documents

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, nested formulas, macros), PowerPoint, and Word

  • US Citizenship is required

  • The ability to travel 10% of the time to the Sunnyvale site location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pricing and Proposal Analyst Experience

  • Knowledge of TINA and other Government Regulations

  • Proficiency in ProPricer

Salary Range: $80,600.00 - $133,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
