We’re looking for a seasoned Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for the Embedded AI experience within our Core File Sync & Share (FSS) product. In this role, you’ll shape the narrative, drive adoption, and partner cross-functionally to deliver high-impact outcomes that elevate how customers interact with AI-powered capabilities in Dropbox - across surfaces.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact IC role for someone who thrives on ownership, strategic depth, and cross-functional leadership.
ResponsibilitiesGo‑To‑Market & Messaging Strategy
- Develop and own positioning, messaging, and narrative for the embedded AI experience within our Core FSS product.
- Drive and execute go-to-market strategies that maximize product adoption and customer value across launches and continuous delivery cycles.
- Ensure messaging reflects deep customer insight and product differentiation.
Customer Insights & Growth
- Identify gaps in customer understanding and generate novel ways to close those gaps.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to deeply understand user needs and behaviors—and turn those into actionable strategies.
- Drive deep understanding of your product performance and partner with GTM teams to unlock growth opportunities.
- Define and evolve scalable frameworks to track customer success and communicate the impact of AI across the experience.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Enablement
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Data Science to influence roadmap and priorities.
- Develop programs highlight success stories that showcase real-world value.
- Translate complex capabilities into crisp narratives that resonate across diverse audiences.
- Deliver compelling enablement materials that drive alignment and empower internal teams—from sales to support.
Thought Leadership & Market Understanding
- Stay on top of AI trends, competitive movements, and market dynamics to shape Dropbox’s AI strategy and customer positioning.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on embedded AI and its strategic importance within our core experience.
- 8–12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in SaaS or platforms with embedded intelligence.
- Proven success with self-serve products, launching and growing adoption within a product-led motion
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Deep analytical orientation and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled at influencing and aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and leadership.
