Principal Partner Marketing Manager, Cloud Partnerships

The Global Partner Marketing team is seeking a seasoned leader to define and scale joint marketing strategy with our most strategic Cloud Service Providers. In this highly visible role, you’ll sit at the intersection of Sales and Marketing, shaping partnerships that materially impact Fastly’s global growth. 

Your mission is to build world-class joint marketing plans with Google Cloud and AWS that drive meaningful demand generation and are grounded in compelling shared value for customers. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and partner executives while applying deep cloud expertise and strategic go-to-market rigor. You will own the marketing relationships, strategy, execution, and results for these top-tier partners making it a rare opportunity to influence the trajectory of top-tier alliances.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy: Define and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for Fastly’s top-tier cloud partners, AWS and Google Cloud
  • Messaging & Content: Develop compelling joint value propositions and core messaging that then scales across a variety of demand-generation, thought leadership, and enablement assets
  • Demand Generation: Lead cross-functional, pipeline-generating campaigns to drive key performance metrics that fuel Fastly’s growth while also accelerating the success of our partners 
  • Go-to-market (GTM) Execution: Align to the overall partnership GTM plans while leading the strategic marketing GTM plan and execution 
  • Trusted Advisory: Act as the trusted marketing advisor to the Partner Sales organization and serve as the bridge into the broader marketing team  

What We're Looking For: 

  • 12 years of experience in Partner Marketing, Alliances Marketing, or Solutions/Product Marketing
  • Demonstrated experience working with cloud partners, especially AWS and Google Cloud (inclusive of MDF usage)
  • Proven ability to lead marketing planning and execution leaning on solid go-to-market strategy
  • Blended skillset that includes messaging and content creation as well as campaign demand generation
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally across marketing while earning the trust of key sales stakeholders

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

  • Direct experience working at a cloud provider company 
  • Experience with Cloud Marketplaces 

Work Hours: 

  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours. 

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements: 

This position is a remote role and open to candidates residing in all US-based locations. EST zone strongly preferred. Our office locations include San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; New York, NY (could then be a hybrid role in those locations). 

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary: 

The estimated salary range for this position is $166,360 to $187,000. 

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
