Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our Partner Management team. This role will serve as the critical liaison between Partner Management, our critical partners and Finance, ensuring accurate and timely updates to monthly forecasts by SDO (Standards Development Organization). The Business Analyst will support royalty reporting, whitespace analysis, team KPIs, and strategic planning efforts while also contributing to presentations and insights that guide leadership decisions.
Key Responsibilities• Forecasting & Financial Liaison• Partner with Finance to update and refine monthly forecasts by SDO, incorporating partner performance, royalty data, and market trends.• Support variance analysis between forecast and actuals, identifying drivers and trends.• Partner & Business Insights• Provide data-driven insights to the Partner Management team to optimize content partnerships and identify growth opportunities.• Conduct whitespace analysis to uncover new opportunities with existing and potential SDO partners.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across partners and content categories.• Strategic & Presentation Support• Assist in preparing presentations and dashboards for executive reviews, partner discussions, and strategic planning sessions.• Build models and visualizations to support business cases for new initiatives.• Collaborate across departments (Partner Management, Finance, Strategy) to ensure alignment on partner performance and growth strategies.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).• 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, consulting, or a similar analytical role.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).• Experience working with financial forecasting, royalty reporting, or partner/channel management preferred.• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
