Join Micron's Front End Central Process Integration Engineering team as a Senior-level Device Engineer and become part of a global network committed to excellence. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to collaborate with our international teams to improve device performance, ensuring we meet and exceed product yield and quality benchmarks. You will focus primarily on DRAM, with the potential to expand into NAND flash memory as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Optimize process steps to achieve optimal device performance.
  • Reduce device variability to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Build and refine layout or test specifications.
  • Standardize device engineering business processes and working methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in device engineering, wafer fabrication, or process integration within semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong foundation in semiconductor physics and CMOS technology, including transistor operation, scaling limits, reliability, and device characterization.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and drive process improvements, with hands-on experience using tools such as JMP or Spotfire.
  • In-depth understanding of wafer fabrication processes, including equipment, process mechanisms, and tuning parameters.
  • Demonstrated ownership, collaboration, and communication skills, with professional English proficiency and the ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with DRAM and/or NAND flash memory technologies.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Direct experience with advanced CMOS technologies such as FinFET or Gate-All-Around (GAA).
  • Working-level communication skills in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese.
  • Programming experience, particularly using Python.
