Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, including hands-on work with Cisco products.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Strong background in Cisco routing and switching, security (ASA/Firepower), and VPN technologies.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Cisco Certifications: CCNP or higher (CCIE strongly preferred).
- F5 Certification: F5-CA or F5-CTS.
- DoD Certification: IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
- Security Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $200,000 to $215,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
Position Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Cisco
Location: US, Remote (Ideally Bay Area)
Duration: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities
***Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance***
Cisco Infrastructure Support:
- Integrate Cisco solutions with other technologies to ensure high availability and secure application delivery.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Cisco network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Optimize network performance and reliability across LAN/WAN architectures.
- Manage Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS configurations and perform regular maintenance and updates.
Cisco Solution Implementation & Support:
- Operate and maintain Cisco infrastructure to ensure application optimization and security.
- Propose and implement system enhancements that improve performance and reliability.
Technical Collaboration & Documentation:
- Support troubleshooting activities and root-cause analysis across Cisco platforms.
- Participate in developing and supporting customer technical requirements.
- Collaborate with other technology teams (network, security, systems) to achieve shared objectives.
- Develop clear technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
