Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with demonstrated expertise in Arista.
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience:
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, network security, and automation in data center or cloud architecture.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Arista Certifications:ACE: L1–L3 or equivalent experience.
- DoD Certification:IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
- Security Clearance:Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $215,000 to $230,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
Position Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Arista
Location: US, Remote (Ideally Bay Area)
Duration: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities

Arista Solution Implementation & Support:
Arista Network Architecture & Operations:
- Design, configure, and manage Arista network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and automation tools.
- Support the development and optimization of customer network requirements leveraging Arista’s Extensible Operating System (EOS) and Cloud Vision.
- Implement network automation using Python, Ansible, or Cloud Vision APIs to streamline configuration management and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues within Arista environments.
- Propose and implement system enhancements to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of Arista network integrations.
- Support day-to-day operations, upgrades, and patching of Arista infrastructure.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Participate in the development and support of customer technical requirements across network and application delivery domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to achieve shared goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbook
