We’re seeking a Principal HRIS Analyst to lead and optimize key functional areas within our Workday HR system. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of HR strategy, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize one or more Workday functional areas (e.g., Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Time, Absence, Benefits).
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
- Support cyclical HR processes (e.g., performance reviews, compensation cycles) through system configuration and reporting.
- Drive system enhancements to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Payroll, and other teams to manage system changes and minimize disruption.
- Present insights and updates to stakeholders at all levels, tailoring communication to the audience.
- Maintain transparency by keeping stakeholders informed of project status, timelines, and potential impacts.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of Workday or HRIS experience, with deep expertise in at least one functional area.
- Proven technical experience with Workday configuration, including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and custom reporting.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into system capabilities.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; experience with dashboards and presenting insights.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups, including HR, IT, and Finance.
- Comfortable with formal presentations and adapting communication styles.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.
- Action-oriented with a bias for iteration and improvement.
- Comfortable navigating roadblocks and ambiguity.

- Workday Certification in any module
- Strong influencing skills—able to align stakeholders and drive change.
- Collaborative and communicative across all levels of the organization.
PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $90,000 - $140,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus.
