What You Will Do:
- Lead portfolio governance and investment planning processes to ensure funding, resources, and strategic priorities are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide executive visibility into portfolio spend, headcount, contractors, vendors, and SOW commitments to drive informed decision-making.
- Analyze investment distribution across mission teams and initiatives, ensuring resources are directed toward the highest-priority work and desired business outcomes.
- Partner with business and finance leaders to evaluate portfolio performance, identify funding gaps, capacity constraints, and areas of overinvestment or underinvestment.
- Facilitate strategic prioritization and portfolio review discussions, enabling leadership to assess risks, dependencies, and competing investment demands.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments and funding reallocations based on changing priorities and organizational goals.
- Drive executive tradeoff decisions by providing data-driven insights.
What You Will Have:
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
