$110,660.00 and $196,460.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. How You'll Make an Impact
- Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, troubleshoot systems issues, and resolve software, vulnerability and security related issues
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity and security
- Support technologies including operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve or escalate to the appropriate fix agent
- Research, design, document, implement, and manage complex systems and related technologies in support of the wireless engineering lab
- Create and update system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures
- Produce required technical documentation, and reviews and improves documentation and designs
- Work with cross-functional teams and advise leadership
- Provide technology leadership and drive the Wireless Lab Technology roadmap with stakeholders and partners
- Establish the integrity, viability, functionality and capacity of wireless lab System architectures by writing and executing detailed test plans and documenting test results
- Test and certify wireless lab systems and related technologies for features, compatibility, interoperability, function and capacity
- Evaluate vendors, products, and solutions without bias or predisposition to make informed recommendations and fully documents findings
- Provide technical support and guidance to wireless lab personnel and ensures all technical standards and documentation requirements are met
- Mentor and guide the work of technical staff
- Interact with and manages tasks with members of cross-functional teams
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without supervision
- Perform other duties as requested by manager

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
Experience
- 5+ years engineering work experience
- 5+ years project management work experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols
- Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
- Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
- Basic knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations
- Knowledge of network devices and basic network appliances
- Experience using network designing software, such as Visio or Lucid Charts
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications
- Knowledge of computer servers and various operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
- Knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisors
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Industry and vendor specific certifications and training preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
Skills
- Knowledge of Spectrum products and services.
- Deep knowledge and Experience in Operating Systems, Virtualization, Storage, and related technologies.
- Knowledge and Experience in creating engineering documentation packages including Engineering Design Document, Data Flow Diagram, Call Flow Diagram, Implementation Guide, Operations Guide, Maintenance Guide, Method of Procedure, Technical Bulletin, Test Plan, and Test Results.
- Knowledge and Experience in Linux systems administration, application and OS tuning.
- Knowledge and Experience in Windows systems administration, application and OS tuning.
