As a Design Validation Product Engineer supporting High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) technology, you will help develop next‑generation HBM solutions used in AI, ML, and high‑performance computing. You will partner closely with Design, Manufacturing, Test, and Quality teams while owning product bring‑up, validation, qualification, and readiness for high‑volume production. This role belongs to the HBM Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG). The group leads advanced TSV-based 3D memory stacking, modern approaches to building, and large-scale silicon debug for complex, high-bandwidth architectures.
Responsibilities- Interpret JEDEC HBM specifications and generate supporting internal architecture documentation.
- Develop understanding of HBM schematics, layout structures, and design microarchitecture.
- Perform silicon bring‑up and validation of HBM products across multiple test and debug environments.
- Complete hardware and software debugging using lab instrumentation, pattern analysis, and system tools.
- Run circuit simulations and analyze large datasets to identify performance, functional, or reliability issues.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Build, Product Engineering, Test, and Quality.
- Support qualification and readiness activities required for ramp to high‑volume manufacturing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies, workflows, and debug processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in schematic interpretation, simulation, data analysis, lab debug, or pattern manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, multi-functional engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and maintain productive work habits.
- Coursework in VLSI, semiconductor processes, Python, or C/C++.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Demonstrated innovation, self‑motivation, and clear verbal/written communication skills.
