Lead complex CRM consulting engagements for major clients, providing senior technical and strategic direction across Braze, segmentation, experimentation, loyalty, measurement, and lifecycle journeys. Use SQL, Liquid, and HTML to build solutions, measure revenue and retention impact through testing, and advise senior stakeholders. Establish CRM best practices, create frameworks and training, mentor consultants, contribute to pitches, and lead discipline-wide quality standards while remaining an individual specialist rather than a people manager.

Who Are Massive Rocket?
Massive Rocket is a rapidly scaling Braze and Snowflake agency on a mission to transform how digital marketing, product, and engineering teams connect. In just five years, we’ve grown at speed and are now gearing up for our next big milestone: hitting $100M in revenue. We build human experiences at scale, powered by cutting‑edge web, mobile, cloud, data, and AI technologies. If you’re excited by innovation, love solving complex challenges, and want to help shape the future of digital experiences, you’ll feel right at home here.

Every role at Massive Rocket is entrepreneurial. The people who thrive here don’t just focus on their own remit — they understand the goals of the teams around them and actively contribute to the success of their colleagues, customers, and partners. We’re building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth, and we’re looking for people who want to make a real impact.

Who Are We Looking to Add to Our Team?

We’re looking for a Principal CRM Consultant to be one of Massive Rocket’s leading technical and strategic experts. When the way forward isn’t clear, the team will turn to you. You’ll set the standard for high-quality CRM work across the department, and you’ll turn your expertise into training, frameworks and IP that everyone uses.

You’ll spend most of your time on client work, acting as the senior technical and strategic lead on one or two accounts. You’ll be responsible for the impact those clients see, and you’ll be able to show it in commercial terms. You’ll also lead your discipline across the whole delivery team.

This is a long-term senior specialist role. You won’t progress into people management. You’ll progress by deepening your expertise and widening your influence across Massive Rocket. You’ll report to a Lead Consultant, the Head of CRM or the CRM Director, depending on your accounts. You’ll work closely with Account Management, Project Management, Sales and senior client stakeholders.

What Will You Do?

  • Solve the complex technical and strategic problems others can’t, and own the quality bar on your accounts
  • Bring deep expertise in areas that make a real difference to clients, such as experimentation and measurement, loyalty programme design, customer segmentation, or advanced builds in SQL and HTML email
  • Design solutions that give clients a lasting competitive advantage, delivered in phases that add value at each step towards the long-term vision
  • Lead solutioning and prioritisation conversations in ambiguous client environments, breaking large programmes into achievable milestones
  • Build trusted relationships with Director, VP and C-suite stakeholders that outlast any single project
  • Make sure Massive Rocket brings a strong, defensible point of view to every engagement you support
  • Use data to anchor every recommendation, and turn complex problems into clear decks, documents and conversations
  • Measure the impact of your work with control groups, holdouts and A/B tests, and report regularly on what it means for client revenue, retention and engagement
  • Run training that raises skills across the delivery team, and create frameworks, playbooks and documentation that others actually use
  • Mentor a wide range of teammates informally, and be the role model junior consultants want to grow into
  • Lead best practice in your craft across Massive Rocket, such as CRM strategy, data standards and loyalty frameworks
  • Join pitch teams to help scope work, build IP and win new clients

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven, measurable impact: You can show the money. You have clear examples of revenue or retention growth from your work, measured against a control or holdout, and you’re used to presenting those results to clients.
  • Hands-on craft: You still love to build. You’re comfortable writing segmentation in SQL, personalising with Liquid, and designing and launching journeys yourself.
  • Deep platform expertise: You’ve delivered live projects in Braze. If your deepest expertise is in a similar platform, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Klaviyo, we’d still love to hear from you.
  • Multi-client experience: You’ve delivered for several brands at once in an agency or consultancy, and you can balance competing priorities without letting quality slip.
  • Influence beyond your own work: You’ve made the people around you better by running training, creating frameworks or playbooks others adopted, or introducing ways of working that stuck.
  • Senior stakeholder confidence: You’re comfortable presenting to Director, VP and C-suite stakeholders, and you’ll respectfully challenge them when the data points another way.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Rocket-Fuelled Growth: Big challenges, fast learning, and the chance to level up quicker than anywhere else
  • Supportive Culture: A positive team that backs each other and celebrates wins together
  • Global Team: Work with talented people across Europe, the US, Latin America and beyond
  • Remote-First: Work from wherever you do your best work
  • Clear Progression: A defined career ladder, so you always know what growth looks like
  • Team Events: Regular meetups and events to connect with the team

A Few Things to Know Before We Get Started

  • Bring Your Own Device: We operate a BYOD policy, so you’ll use your own kit for work
  • Right to Work: You’ll need a valid right to work in your location. We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time
  • ID Checks: We may ask for ID, such as a passport, ID card or recent utility bill
  • References: We may ask for two references
  • Contractors: You’ll need to provide proof of incorporation and current insurance
A Quick Note on Applications
We receive a high volume of applications, and while we’d love to reply to everyone personally, it’s not always possible. If you haven’t heard from us within two weeks, it sadly means you haven’t been successful this time. But don’t let that stop you—we’re growing fast, and new opportunities open up all the time.
