We’re passionate about empowering people to develop captivating and influential stories through video, generative AI, and new technologies.

The Opportunity

The Creative Technologist for Video functions as both a practitioner and innovator—engrossed in Adobe video tools and consistently exploring new creative technologies. This role focuses on curiosity, storytelling, and technical knowledge: you’ll implement emerging tools, exchange practical approaches, and encourage others with the art of possibility.

Proficiency in video editing, compositing, and production is essential, along with the skill to explain intricate processes clearly. Collaboration with various teams and individuals to showcase Adobe technology's impact on video's evolution is vital.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the in-house expert for Adobe video software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.), demonstrating practical skills.
  • Research, prototype, and apply emerging creative technologies—with a focus on generative AI, video workflows, and automation.
  • Partner with internal teams and external creators to develop and share innovative storytelling techniques.
  • Record, edit, and produce compelling demo content that elucidates workflows and encourages new use cases.
  • Serve as a market analyst, remaining informed about advancements in video production and generative AI to provide insights for product and marketing strategies.
  • Attend events, workshops, and customer sessions as a self-assured and passionate advocate for Adobe technology.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to provide hands-on insights and feedback based on real creative practice.
  • Operate as a self-starter, taking ideas from concept to demo independently while influencing broader storytelling efforts.
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Storytelling & communication: Ability to make complex technology accessible and inspiring for diverse audiences.
  • Portfolio required: Videos, demos, and creative projects that showcase technical and creative expertise.
  • Approach: Naturally curious, innovative, collaborative, and eager to explore new creative tools and workflows.
  • Presentation skills: Confidence speaking to executive audiences, creative communities, and social channels
  • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Google Veo 3, Midjourney, Flux, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
  • Active use of LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) in creative workflows.
  • Capability to record, edit, and produce videos from start to finish.
  • Programming or scripting skills (JavaScript, Python) a plus.
