Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Sector's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Principal CIDO IT Program Manager or Sr. Principal CIDO IT Program Manager that will support the Business Lifecycle Solutions Portfolio.

This is a remote/virtual position, but the selected candidate will need to be within driving distance to one of our facilities.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal CIDO IT Program Manager (T03) or Sr. Principal CIDO IT Program Manager (T04).

The selected candidate will oversee multiple programs and projects in support of the CIDO mission. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading and working within a matrixed team.

  • Effectively interact with members of the Corporate team, IT organizations, Sector, Division, and Program/Project leadership teams to optimize strategies in support of stated goals and objectives as applicable.

  • Providing direction and leadership as a CIDO PM over enterprise activities in support of business functions to include strategy development, budget, schedule management, staffing, monitoring, and controlling program and project outcomes.

  • Acting as the liaison between corporate and sector or functional senior management to ensure alignment of digital strategies, proposals (internal and external), developing requirements, and execution of plans to deliver against business requirements.

  • Oversee product and service acquisition, delivery, teaming relationships, and communication activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions.

  • Enabling the delivery of information systems and services to include design, development, and analysis.

  • Focus on user experiences and high customer satisfaction ratings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules.

  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and opportunities.

  • Coordinate business and IT activities.

  • Support requirements, testing, training, and deployment efforts.

  • Prepare executive status reports and dashboards.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.

  • Support business readiness and change management activities.

  • Lead and operate in a matrixed environment.

Principal CIDO IT Program Manager (T03) Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 Years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in: Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; 3 Years with a Masters; 1 Year with a PhD.

  • 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience and experience with Project Management methodologies and tools.

  • Proficient in IT systems and strategies, estimating and proposals, requirements development, systems and application integration, program security execution and compliance (including DFAR & Risk Management Framework), and related disciplines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Sr. Principal CIDO IT Program Manager (T04) Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 Years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in: Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; 6 Years with a Masters; 4 Years with a PhD.

  • 5 to 7 years of Project Management experience and experience with Project Management methodologies and tools.

  • Expertise in IT systems and strategies, estimating and proposals, requirements development, systems and application integration, program security execution and compliance (including DFAR & Risk Management Framework), and related disciplines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering complex Enterprise IT solutions and capabilities.

  • Experience with data migration, testing, training, or deployment activities.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or procurement processes.

  • PMP, CAPM, SAFe, Scrum certification, ITIL, or other technical certifications.

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
