About the Team

Join our small, mighty, and dynamic team as a Principal, AI Outbound Product Manager where you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI products. We're looking for a highly strategic and experienced individual who can translate deep AI product understanding, customer engagement, domain expertise, and market insights into tangible product success. You'll help drive the voice of our customers, championing their needs and ensuring our AI solutions remain innovative and value-oriented.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Champion Customer Needs: Lead our Voice of Customer (VoC) program with agent teams, gathering and synthesizing critical insights that directly inform product direction and strategic decisions. You'll ensure our product development is always aligned with customer needs.

  • Customer Engagement: Actively engaging with customers (and prospects) to gather feedback, understand adoption challenges, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Drive Data-Backed Decisions: Own AI agent usage and VoC data gathering and analytics. You'll transform raw data into actionable recommendations, providing the insights needed to refine our product strategy and maximize customer value.

  • Help Shape the AI Roadmap: Spearhead competitive differentiation efforts and contribute significantly to our AI roadmap. By analyzing industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback, you'll ensure our products remain cutting-edge and market-leading.

  • Ensure Product Adoption & Value: Design and execute feature adoption initiatives to guarantee customers continuously realize the value of our AI solutions.

  • Craft Compelling Narratives: Support the creation and refinement of AI and agent product strategy content, ensuring accuracy and developing compelling narratives that clearly connect AI capabilities to tangible customer value.

  • Communicate with Impact: Craft and deliver high-quality presentations to diverse audiences, effectively communicating our AI product vision and strategy.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Product Marketing and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication, alignment, and execution across all AI product initiatives.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic customer engagement, product management, or outbound product management in SaaS.

  • 2+ years of experience specifically with AI and agent technologies and their practical application.

  • 6+ years of experience in leading Voice of Customer programs, conducting data analysis, and performing competitive intelligence.

Other Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and workflows, especially how AI can solve them.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and strategic direction through data-driven insights and compelling arguments.

  • A solid understanding of foundational AI/ML concepts and AI/ML models. 

  • Basic understanding of the AI/ML development process, including data collection, model training, deployment (MLOps), monitoring, and iteration.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with data scientists and machine learning engineers, understanding their challenges and requirements

  • Expertise in interpreting performance metrics, business metrics, and analyzing various data sources to derive meaningful customer intelligence.

  • Given the rapid pace of AI innovation, a growth mindset and the ability to stay updated with the latest AI research, tools, and industry trends.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $192,000 USD - $288,000 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $164,900 USD - $288,000 USD
