Resource Innovations is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical Pricing Analyst to support our sales, product development, and operations’ teams. The pricing Analyst is a new role within Resource Innovations and provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic, innovative, and sales driven organization.
The Pricing Analyst will compile all pricing inputs to ensure compliance with RFP requirements. The ideal candidate will review proposal requirements, aid in developing a pricing strategy, and support negotiations for our software-enabled clean energy solutions for utilities as well as commercial, industrial and residential energy customers to support the rapidly changing industry and clean energy transition. This high-visibility role will interact regularly with Resource Innovations’ executive team and functional groups across our organization to develop and present pricing solutions that drive increased deal capture and win rates

Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews RFP requirements, plans and manages pricing activities throughout the RFP process, focusing on achievability and accountability of deadlines.
- Maintains excellent, effective, and persuasive relationships with cross-functional teams, and outside partners, ensuring alignment to meet evolving client solutions
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand the cost components associated with our products and services.
- Collects, manages, and validates inputs from various sources both internally and from subcontractors to consolidate into the final pricing model
- Creates and drives delivery deadlines to ensure all inputs are included in pricing and formal approval are received prior to proposal submission.
- Accurately completes required documentation Including proposal documents in accordance with RFP requirements, internal recording in accordance with business best practices, and opportunity-specific, finance-related data in Salesforce
- Analyzes historical benchmarks, industry standards, sales trends, competitor intel, market factors and client feedback to establish competitive pricing
- Presents pricing models and financial analysis to the leadership team for final approval
- Incorporates learned knowledge into new pricing models that results in increased margin performance and increased win rates and ensures pricing strategies align with overall business goals and revenue targets.
- Drives innovation by implementing best practices, and promoting continuous process improvement to benefit both client outcomes and business performance

Preferred skills, education and experience
- Operations analysis or business consulting experience
- Pricing template or tool development, model and scenario building
- Financial analysis or corporate finance experience
- Experience presenting to senior team members
- Client facing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, energy, engineering or related field of study
- 1-3 years’ of experience in business consulting, finance, engineering, or a related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel capabilities and proficient skills with other Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (Salesforce), and BI/BA platforms and tools
- Financial and Analytical Acumen with experience using and maintaining pricing tools and templates
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and dynamic presentation skills
- Collaborative, curious, proactive, and engaged with the leadership team to make RI a great company to work for all employees

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
