Job Summary:

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Designed, evaluated, and implemented dynamic pricing strategies and models aligned with current business objectives and competitive market conditions.
  • Market Monitoring: Continuously monitored the competitive landscape to ensure pricing practices upheld company reputation and maintained high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance teams across all organizational levels to strategically position the product portfolio and establish pricing programs that align with sales strategies and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Revenue Impact Analysis: Conducted detailed projections to assess the financial impact of pricing adjustments, promotional campaigns, and rebate programs on overall revenue performance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support Proposal Management and Business Development departments in development of Teledyne FLIR responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Commercial Quotes.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost proposals.
  • Provide costing and pricing support to include customizing MS Excel costing templates, preparing pricing summary sheets including Work-Breakdown Structure (WBS) mapping, providing historical cost data, and general finance support to the Quote Manager.
  • Responsible for pricing and discounting analysis for the business, providing analytical insights and recommendations to take advantage of pricing opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Manage the administrative functions necessary to execute pricing strategies, including maintenance of standard pricing in SAP.
  • Oversee execution of list price adjustments
  • Develop complex cost models and detailed cost narratives based on the RFP requirements
  • Development of pricing strategy; utilize overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Working closely with Capture Manager, Technical Staff and other functional departments to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals.
  • Coordination of labor, subcontract, review, analyze and compile cost data; Analyzes estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs, analyzing estimates against previous cost experience and recommends adjustments; prepare cost volumes.
  • Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy.
  • Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations.
  • Develop internal pricing schedules and gross margin analyses for leadership review and approval.
  • Collect and organize internal cost estimates, third-party documentation and travel/other direct costs.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or related field
  • 1 years of experience in Federal Government pricing, proposal development, federal contracting, data analytics, or risk management.
  • Experience with Business Narrative development
  • Experience with Excel Modeling and pricing analysis
  • Ability to read an RFP and understand price volume deliverables
  • Experience working with all phases of solicitation processes such as request for information (RFI), RFP responses and negotiations
  • Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M
  • Ability to focus, multitask and make use of good time management skills
  • Attention to detail and strategic mindset
  • Experience with financial systems and/or bids and proposal tools such as SAP and ProPricer.
  • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office suite tools (MS Outlook, MS Word, Power Point, and Excel/including spreadsheet formulas and graph/chart implementation).
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, teamwork, verbal and written communications skills.
    Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$58,700.00-$78,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
