TITLE:  Pricing Analyst, Texture and Healthful Solutions

LOCATION:  Westchester, Illinois

REPORTS TO:  Senior Manager, Pricing, Texture and Healthful Solutions

As part of the North American Finance team, the Pricing Analyst, Texture and Healthful Solutions is responsible for supporting the Commercial leadership teams in the U.S./Canada business to help advance strategic pricing initiatives across the business and help drive compelling portfolio pricing strategies.  As a member of the US/Canada Pricing Center of Excellence, this role is responsible for developing and implementing pricing tools and models, performing data analytics at the customer and product levels, and providing recommendations on specific pricing strategies and contracting considerations that will help us to further capture the value of our products and services.

 Core Responsibilities: 

  • Develop understanding of market growth trends, industry structure, relative strength of our value proposition (product and service), underlying cost structure, margin targets and our market share objectives
  • Support execution of the contracting process, measuring our efficiency in the closing of business deals to ensure delivery of pricing strategy.
  • Build new tools and processes to better understand and communicate profitability, price leakage, price variance, pricing leverage and competitive dynamics to help direct how we establish pricing in the marketplace.
  • Assist in establishing disciplined processes, governance and pricing guardrails that are business appropriate to ensure proper execution of our pricing strategy and targets
  • Develop effective working relationships across the business to grow knowledge of our products, customers, and markets and to help facilitate effective communication of business needs.

Qualified candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or business field
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
  • Proven track record of making sound decisions and maintaining productivity in situations with limited information and unclear direction.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite Software Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc) as well as SAP Business Warehouse; Prior Power BI experience a plus.
  • Desire to engage with Go-to-Market teams, broaden market and supply chain knowledge and develop broader skill set pertaining to pricing and customer/product profitability, while building an understanding of Ingredion’s manufacturing processes and distribution methods
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Pay Range:

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
