Location: East Coast, US (remote)

Reports to: Chief Analytics Officer

The role: 

We are looking for a senior Pricing Actuary to join our high-growth reinsurance broking firm. This is a pivotal, client-facing leadership role for an individual with deep structuring expertise and a passion for developing people, ideas, and relationships. You will lead multiple high-impact engagements simultaneously, act as a senior structuring expert for complex deals, and play a key role in advancing innovation within our Bridge Analytics team. 

 

You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of our analytics offering while actively developing and mentoring a growing team of actuaries and analysts. You will also work directly with clients and markets to create differentiated solutions that deliver capital efficiency and strategic value. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead the structuring and pricing of complex reinsurance transactions across all Augment pillars, managing multiple high-impact engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery under tight deadlines. 

Contribute to the development of Bridge Analytics, by providing expert actuarial input on bespoke and innovative deal structures that deliver capital efficiency and strategic value to clients. 

Serve as the senior technical authority in negotiations with reinsurers and clients. 

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting sophisticated analytics and structuring ideas in clear, commercially relevant terms. 

Partner with brokers and senior stakeholders to co-create differentiated solutions tailored to client objectives. 

Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, markets, and industry partners. 

Mentor and develop a growing team of actuaries and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation. 

Provide guidance on technical methodologies, career growth, and professional development. 

Champion diversity of thought and empower junior colleagues to take ownership of projects. 

Drive forward the firm’s analytics innovation agenda, experimenting with new techniques and tools to enhance pricing and structuring approaches. 

Identify opportunities to embed automation, AI, and technology into actuarial workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

Contribute to thought leadership by publishing insights, presenting at industry events, and sharing expertise with clients and colleagues. 

Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance. 

 

Qualifications: 

Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup, non-traditional environment. 

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field. 

Qualified Actuary (FCAS, FIA or equivalent). 

10+ years of experience in analytics, preferably within the reinsurance, insurance, banking, legal, or consulting sectors. 

Experience in Reinsurance Pricing & Structuring, Reinsurance Broking, Consultancy and/or Capital Modelling is desirable. 

Excellent communication and relationship fostering skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams. 

Proven track record of managing several projects simultaneously whilst delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. 

Comfortable working remotely within a global team and travelling as required to meet clients and markets.
