While we continuously exceed our goals, we need your help – our success is only as great as our people. Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the bar!

As a Strategic Designer, you are on the pulse of the latest in design, innovation, art, tech, and culture. You think about your work from multiple angles and understand how audiences interact with the visuals you put into the world. At your core, you’re a visual storyteller, able to transform strategy, insights, and ideas into clear, compelling presentations.

This role focuses heavily on presentation and deck design, helping bring complex concepts, campaign ideas, and performance insights to life through thoughtful visual communication. Working closely with strategy, creative, and business development teams, you will design high-impact decks, executive-facing materials, and visual narratives that elevate our ideas and showcase our creative capabilities to clients and prospects.

*Submission of a strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design styles and projects is required with application.*

What You'll Do Here:

  • Design polished, high-impact presentations, RFP responses, and executive-facing materials that clearly communicate strategy, campaign ideas, and creative concepts.
  • Translate complex ideas, insights, and data into visually engaging narratives that simplify information and strengthen strategic messaging.
  • Transform strategic direction into compelling visual mockups and presentation frameworks that help bring ideas and campaigns to life.
  • Present research, performance metrics, and key insights through clear and engaging visual formats.
  • Partner closely with strategists, creatives, and business development teams to interpret briefs, refine ideas, and deliver high-quality design work.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines while maintaining a high standard of visual quality and consistency.
  • Stay current on emerging design trends, presentation best practices, and AI-enabled creative tools that improve workflows and creative output.

What You'll Need To Have:

  • 2–4+ years of professional design experience, ideally within an agency, marketing, or creative environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing presentation design, visual storytelling, and strategic communication.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience designing presentations and pitch decks in Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Figma.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and information design.
  • Ability to translate complex strategy and data into clear visual narratives.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with motion design tools or AI-enabled creative tools is considered an asset.

Compensation Philosophy:

At Viral Nation, compensation is structured, performance-led, and market-aligned. Pay decisions are intentional, based on role requirements, performance, and market alignment by country, and are set to maintain internal pay equity across comparable roles and levels.

Compensation progression is tied to demonstrated performance, expanded scope, and sustained contribution over time, not tenure alone. Employee compensation is reviewed regularly through formal performance reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment with role expectations and impact.

AI in Recruitment:

Viral Nation does not use AI-enabled tools to screen, assess, rank, or select candidates in our recruitment process. Our hiring teams make all hiring decisions.
