Pay Range

$70,600.00-$97,100.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.   Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

We are seeking aPreferred Accounts Specialist to serve as a key relationship and operational partner for our most strategic customers. This role plays a critical part in strengthening client relationships, improving internal processes, and driving preference for the JM brand through outstanding service and data‑driven insights.

Reporting directly to the Preferred Accounts Leader, this position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, analytics, and cross‑functional coordination—and who enjoys turning complexity into streamlined, value‑adding solutions.

What You’ll Do

Be a Trusted Client Partner

  • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for Preferred Accounts, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and consistent follow‑through
  • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a high level of client satisfaction by proactively identifying needs and resolving issues quickly

Drive Process Excellence & Lead Management

  • Develop and formalize processes to qualify opportunities, capture leads in Salesforce, and distribute them to the JM sales organization and contractors in alignment with the Roofing Systems Customer First strategy
  • Manage and execute a structured approach for RFP responses for Preferred Accounts
  • Support continuous improvement by streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency across Preferred Account activities

Leverage Data to Create Value

  • Analyze Preferred and Strategic Account profitability to ensure alignment with JM goals and initiatives
  • Develop a formal approach to data entry, reporting, and data mining related to Preferred Account guarantees in Salesforce
  • Maintain and manage owner and account databases with a focus on data accuracy and usability

Collaborate Across the Business

  • Act as a JM corporate liaison, coordinating support and response across multiple departments and functions
  • Partner closely with the Preferred Accounts Leader on asset program support, contracts, renewals, rebates, and agreements
  • Contribute to client‑specific strategies that strengthen long‑term relationships and competitive advantage
What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of professional work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, account support, or a related client‑facing role

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong proficiency with Excel and database‑driven tools
  • Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce and/or SAP preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Solid client service, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Comfortable tracking, solving, and escalating complex issues as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of commercial roofing systems, components, and construction processes
  • Familiarity with the commercial real estate and building owner/property management environment
  • Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and results‑driven mindset
Work Environment & Travel
  • Office‑based role in a professional office setting
  • Minimal travel required (0–10 days per year)
