Job Description

Mirantis is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our dynamic client-facing technical team. In this role, you will partner with sales, product, and engineering to design and demonstrate cutting-edge cloud and AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients.

As a strategic technical advisor, you’ll help clients navigate their digital transformation, drive solution adoption, and help shape product direction through your insights and client feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging technical presentations and live demonstrations illustrating Mirantis’ solution capabilities and business value.

  • Collaborate with sales to uncover client goals, assess their technology landscape, and architect tailored solutions using Mirantis and open-source platforms.

  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) projects and technical workshops to validate solution fit, feasibility, and alignment with client strategies.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, developing long-term relationships with client stakeholders and advocating for their needs internally.

  • Provide post-sales technical support (training, deployment, support, etc.) in collaboration with the Mirantis Customer Success team.

  • Research technical topics needed to support customer engagements and keep up to date with the latest technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AI/ML) relevant to our market.

  • Help build and nurture a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and teamwork across Mirantis.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role for cloud-native or enterprise software.

  • A deep understanding of:

    • Cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, microservices, and public cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

    • AI/ML infrastructure tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, NVIDIA AI), and how they integrate with cloud-native platforms

    • DevOps and automation tools, including CI/CD pipelines

    • Observability tooling, including open-source monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the cloud infrastructure and open-source ecosystem.

  • Track record of delivering outcomes for Fortune 500 clients and influencing senior IT/engineering leaders (CIO, CTO).

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and business audiences.

  • Ability to travel 1–3 times per month for in-person client sessions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Industry certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.) are a plus.

  • Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Comfort working in a global, remote, or hybrid environment and managing projects across multiple stakeholders.

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but limited to, relevant sill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location
Salary range: $160000-$175000 per year
