What You Will Do:

We are looking for a hands-on software engineer with deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including some UiPath understanding. An expert on Power Apps to design, configure and develop custom solutions in Microsoft Power platform. The candidate will take an active role in supporting and building on the MPP application. The candidate will have excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or the board of directors. The candidate should have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Microsoft Power Platform implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test, and deploy
  • Identify the client's sales, marketing, and customer service requirements through discovery meetings
  • Delivering services and solutions for clients using Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
  • Conduct end-user training and create and maintain knowledge transfer documentation
  • Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; outputs will include data visualization and low code applications
  • Develop and continue to refine Power Platform implementation standards and tools
  • Present tailored demonstrations of the technology solution
  • Responsible for high quality, bug-free development as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the development/QA team
  • Participate in daily project scrum meetings and provide a daily personal status report
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members to design and implement the enterprise Microsoft Dynamics solution ensuring high quality, reliable
  • Serve as Microsoft Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), with technical expertise including system architecture, solution design, system configuration, and security management
  • Help create design documentation for new solutions and functions
  • Work with the support team to resolve production support issues
  • Will be proactive in staying up to date on the latest updates to the Power Platform, as well as future roadmap features announced in Microsoft’s wave plans

What You Will Need:

  • Must have a minimum of THREE (3) years of professional experience
  • Selected Candidate must be able to commute or travel onsite to the client as needed
  • US Citizenship is contractually required
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (4yr college degree)
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer to include both on-premise and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer to include creating custom workflow solutions, and PowerApps / Power Automate (M365 Suite of Products)
  • Experience in designing complex common data models
  • Understanding of RPA development lifecycle, including process and object creation.
  • Experience developing with UiPath.
  • Familiarity with RPA Control Room, queue management, and scheduling.
  • Ability to follow RPA best practices and coding standards under supervision.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
  • Power BI at an advanced level: semantic model design, complex DAX including time intelligence, context transition, iterator patterns, inactive relationships, and calculation groups. Must be able to write measures that hold up under filtering across multiple pages without double counting or shifting meaning at totals.
  • Power BI service administration: workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataflows, incremental refresh, row level security, and gateway configuration.
  • Microsoft Fabric, specifically dataflows Gen2 and lakehouse patterns. This engagement is moving from emailed static extracts toward dataflows connected to source semantic models, and that transition needs someone who has done it before.
  • Power Automate for scheduled ingestion and file handling, including flows that move recurring extracts from email into managed storage.
  • Power Apps and Dataverse. The client is standing up a staffing plan management application on ServiceNow and has related Power Platform activity; familiarity is needed to integrate against these rather than build them.
  • SQL at a strong level, including window functions, common table expressions, and query optimization against large transactional tables.
  • Dimensional modeling. Must be able to design star schemas, resolve mixed grain fact tables, and manage role playing date dimensions. This project combines employee snapshots, position records, hiring actions, training assignments, and separations in one model.
  • Slowly changing dimensions and effective dated records. HR data is effective dated by nature and point in time headcount is a non-trivial calculation.
  • Data warehouse or lakehouse design experience. Prior experience standing up a central data hub that feeds reporting, rather than pointing reports directly at extracts.
  • Entity resolution across systems that do not share a common key, including building and maintaining crosswalk tables.
  • Data quality profiling and reconciliation: identifying duplicates, orphaned records, unmapped values, and conflicting counts between sources, then documenting the resolution.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience in “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner highly desired
  • Experience with RPA tools like UiPath
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience with public sector clients preferred
  • Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
