We are seeking a Policies & Procedures Manager to join our Operations team in Cayman. This is a pivotal role that involves overseeing policy submissions, providing guidance to the business, managing periodic reviews, and supporting the implementation of group-wide enterprise policies. Your expertise will help ensure our regulatory compliance and operational excellence as part of a global organization.

Some of the things you will be doing:
Technical Expertise
- Policy and Procedure Oversight: Manage and review submissions to the tracker for new policies, changes, and updates to ensure they align with regulatory and operational standards. Ensure existing policies are reviewed in accordance with review schedule.
- Practical Application: Offer guidance on the interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures, balancing technical accuracy with pragmatic solutions, and collaborating with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will work with the Quality Manager to audit the adherence and successful implementation of each policy.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of local legal and regulatory changes, recommending updates to internal procedures as required.
- Risk-Based Projects: Contribute to and manage projects that advance the policies and procedures framework.
- Technology Adaptation: Stay informed about relevant business tools and technology to enhance process efficiency.
Client Care
- Internal & External Support: Act as the gatekeeper for policy submissions, act as coordinator for internal policies and procedures committee, and provide expert guidance to internal teams on applying policies and procedures effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Compliance, Service Line teams, and Group functions, to ensure seamless policy implementation.
- Efficiency Focus: Manage deadlines and deliverables with accuracy and time efficiency, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
People & Team Development
- Leadership & Training: Collaborate with key stakeholders in training team members and promoting awareness of policies and procedures across the organization.
- Team Collaboration: Foster teamwork and collaboration with immediate team members and other departments to achieve shared objectives.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:
- Experience: 10 years' proven experience in a similar role, ideally within legal, internal governance and/or compliance functions.
- Qualifications: Strong academic background and a recognized professional qualification (ICSA, STEP, ICA, or equivalent). Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Professional qualifications such as ICSA, STEP, ICA, or equivalent are required, with PMP/PRINCE2 or CAMS as an advantage.
- Regulatory Expertise: Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of Cayman Islands regulatory requirements and proven experience in compliance, governance, or risk functions within a regulated financial services environment.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to formulate, evaluate, and implement effective solutions.
- Project Management: Experience managing projects and delivering results in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Initiative: Independent thinker with the ability to manage tasks and drive success proactively.
