As a PLM System Specialist, you will develop Aras Innovator solutions, provide user support, create training materials, and improve system efficiency.
Fluidra is looking for a PLM System Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
This role combines hands-on development work with end-user support, training material creation, and first-line helpdesk duties. You will work closely with senior developers, system admins, and engineering teams to ensure the system meets business needs. Additionally, you will:
- Aras Innovator Development
- Assist in the development and customization of Aras Innovator solutions, including business logic, workflows, lifecycles, and methods.
- Support the configuration of Aras forms, reports, and data models.
- Collaborate on testing and deployment of new features and bug fixes.
- Have a solid understanding of managing multiple Projects
- Tier 1 Helpdesk Support
- Act as the first point of contact for Aras-related technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common user problems or escalate as needed.
- Log, track, and document issues and resolutions.
- User Training & Documentation
- Create and maintain user training guides, quick reference materials, and video tutorials.
- Support onboarding sessions and assist with user training workshops.
- Continuous Improvement
- Help gather user feedback and identify areas for system improvement.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to best practices documentation.
- Test solutions developed by team prior to deployment.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Familiarity with PLM systems and/or enterprise software.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, C#, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience with Aras Innovator (internship, coursework, or professional).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic understanding of XML, SOAP/REST APIs.
- Experience using tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Jira.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Expected salary range is $78,000 - $88,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
