The Business Systems team is responsible for building and improving the many systems that enables Anduril to accomplish its mission. Anduril’s supply chain, accounting, sales & growth, engineering, modeling & simulation, field maintenance, manufacturing, and many more teams rely on the technology built and maintained by our team. We work across the company to ensure we have the tools and capabilities necessary for mission success.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for helping product and program teams maximize the value they get out of the engineering systems they use on a daily basic (PLM, CAD, CAE, etc.). You will work across a broad set of stakeholders to design, develop, and implement improvements and optimizations to our engineering systems while helping steer future investments.
WHAT YOU"LL DO
- Tasks: User management, system configuration, performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting.
- Overlap: Works with Solutions Engineers to deploy changes and with Architects for system upgrades.
- Technical Capabilities: User management, system configuration, data management, basic scripting, performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting.
- Coding Methods: Custom solution development, integration, deployments
- Languages: Java, C, C++, XML, BMIDE (Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment).
- Tools: BMIDE., RAC, Infra as code (Terraform), Teamcenter ITK (Integration Toolkit), SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), TCXML
- Coding Methods: Basic scripting for automation, configuration.
- Languages: Shell scripting, Perl, Java.
- Data Management: Handling multi-system data integration and synchronization.
- System Interoperability: Ensuring smooth interaction between different systems.
- Maintain Infrastructure (Servers, Load Balancers, Cloud Systems, etc), perform installations, deploy patches and updates
- Support to users during and post-implementation to ensure adoption of new technology
- Provide support for the installation and post go-live of upgrades and new modules within PLM
- Work with vendors and third-party service providers to implement upgrades and new modules
- Collect infrastructure and configuration questions for Teamcenter and any integration to other systems (CAD, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers to identify and address issues, bugs, and enhancement requests from both Teamcenter and any integration to other systems (CAD, etc.)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining Engineer Systems (PLM, CAD, CAE, SysML, etc.) with a preference on Siemens
- Understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE systems and their integration with PLM solutions (Ideally Teamcenter)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to root cause end user and infrastructure related issues
- Capable of independent work - you don’t need to be walked through each step just pointed in a direction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems, along with software installations
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining PLM specifically Teamcenter
- Possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS or Secret Security clearance
- Experience with Teamcenter Deployment Center: For deploying and upgrading Teamcenter environments.
- Experience with
- CAD Tools: PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault).
- CAE Tools: Simulation data management tools (e.g., ANSYS Workbench, Abaqus).
- Integration Tools: Middleware for connecting CAD/CAE to PLM (e.g., CADIntegrators).
- Capabilities with
- Scripting/Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
- Troubleshooting: Skills to diagnose and resolve issues across various systems.
- User Support: Ability to provide technical support and training for multiple software platforms.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
