About the Role:
CrowdStrike Services is seeking a Senior Platform Professional Services Consultant responsible for the planning, deployment, and operational support of the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and related applications. The Senior Platform Consultant role requires a wide range of technical skills such as knowledge of cloud security best practices, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting, and infrastructure as code.
The Senior Platform Consultant will have responsibility for all aspects of the deployment from the initial customer engagement, planning, installation, optimization, and follow-on support for the CrowdStrike cloud modules & applications including Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Application Security Posture Management (ASPM), and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
What You'll Do:
Deployment and Operations activities may include:
Provide technical expertise related to implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting assistance with the deployment of the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and associated applications/modules
Support modification of scripts to deploy Falcon Cloud Security solutions with Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation and Terraform
Troubleshoot customer deployment issues across small to large enterprises
Utilize and engineer native and 3rd party software deployment technologies
Develop scripts and processes around Falcon sensor deployment
Plan and report software deployment status
Work closely and collaboratively with customer information technology teams
Provide mentorship and guidance to the Platform Professional Services team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Conduct training sessions to promote the adoption of cloud platform best practices across the organization
Leveraging CrowdStrike applications to support customers in vulnerability and asset management
Assist customers with the integration of CrowdStrike into existing tools
Support both Incident Response and Compromise Assessment teams with deployment of Falcon modules, internal tools, and scripts required for collection of data
Work closely and collaboratively with Platform Professional Services team to lead educational series for the Falcon Cloud Security and related applications
Facilitate working relationship between product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams
Examples of projects include:
Guiding customers that want to deploy (Falcon) agents to ECS Fargate or Google Cloud Run.
Guiding customers deploying Falcon Helm charts or Operators to Kubernetes clusters.
Helping customers to integrate Falcon (CSPM) with AWS accounts, GCP projects, or Azure tenants with Bash, Terraform or APIs
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and 5+ years of experience performing IT deployments or in an end user/customer environment, as well as experience with the following:
Cloud platform expertise and certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP
Extensive knowledge of at least one public cloud
Extensive knowledge of cloud and container deployment technologies
Strong knowledge of CSPM
Expertise in Linux administration and usage of CLI
Extensive experience scripting with Python
Proficiency Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
Comprehensive customer facing consulting experience
Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Broad experience in overall cloud, computer, and network systems security
Exceptional problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
Results driven, self-starter with high level of motivation
Excellent time management with the ability to lead multiple customer engagement

Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
