Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmaps across underwriting, claims, broker and partner platforms.

  • Translate insurance logic (eligibility, rating, filings, underwriting rules) into scalable software.
  • Lead sprint planning, prioritization, release readiness, and feature delivery.
  • Use data to refine UX, improve broker/underwriter efficiency, and increase quote-to-bind conversion.
  • Work with external data partners.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years as a PM in SaaS, fintech, InsurTech, or commercial insurance systems.
  • Strong technical literacy (APIs, data flows, workflow engines).
  • Experience with P&C—ideally Cyber, E&O, or Commercial Lines.
  • Excellent communication: crisp specs, clear prioritization, confident stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment with high ownership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with underwriting workbenches, PAS, quoting engines, or MGA/carrier systems.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance, filings, producer workflows, and bordereaux data.
  • SQL/GraphQL or data analysis skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range: $145,000– $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location).
  • Total Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation.
  • Benefits Overview: Converge provides comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and flexible paid time off (PTO).
