Role Description

Focused on helping grow our PIMS (Practice Information Management Software) integrations, Zoetis is looking for an intern candidate who, along with the PIMS Product Managers, will help grow our global PIMS partnerships. In this role, you will be involved in supporting Zoetis markets globally to increase PIMS integrations in the market, expand market understanding of PIMS that integration and how to enable this integration for Zoetis customers. This effort is key to our global customer experience, and will expose you to real-world scenarios, systems, problems, and solutions. You will be embedded with the Product Management and Information Platforms team and will gain exposure to the relationship management that drives PIMS integrations. You will be exposed to best-in-class practices operating in a virtual office, meet with other interns, and network within Zoetis.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Overview: Working alongside the PIMS product managers to expand PIMS integrations globally.
  • Tasks: Support communications with PIMS partners and Zoetis markets to enhance the PIMS integration experience, engage colleagues in understanding PIMS we integrate with and how to access the tools they need to complete the integration, maintain, and expand the SharePoint site where these tools are compiled.
  • Final Deliverable: All bidirectionally integrated PIMS to have their integration details fully documented for future enhancements.  
  • Prepare/present reports and other information summarizing work activities. Prepare/present various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions.
  • Coordinate with product, marketing, and others to manage PIMS integration documentation and support.
  • If time allows, perform other duties as assigned (e.g.: Join developer kick off calls learning about the process used to integrate PIMS, support cross functional team meetings to gain a deeper understanding of the PIMS experience.)

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program; minimum GPA 3.0 is preferred. Business, communications, marketing majors encourage to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications – especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Comfort with style and communication in the digital space, comfortable with online communication platforms, experience with SharePoint a plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities such as assertiveness and willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and strive for results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented thinking.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Permanent employment authorization/U.S. citizenship.

Program Dates:

  • Summer internships will begin in May/June and last until mid-August (duration will be 10-12 weeks).
  • This specific position will be US Remote based.

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:

 

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $20.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour

 

 

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois (Chicago area), Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington (Seattle area):

 

Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour

Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour

Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour

Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour
