Our company is remote-first, and we will consider any candidates who are US Physicians, board certified in Family Medicine, fully licensed to practice in the United States and hold active licenses in the required states (see below).
Clinical Operations at Curai
The clinical team at Curai uses Artificial intelligence-empowered electronic records to deliver urgent care and primary care to our patients. Our 1099 Clinicians must be willing to cover three or more shifts a month, and we operate 24/7.

What You'll Do
• Seeing acute/urgent care patients in our live text-based chat clinic. This can also include straightforward chronic care cases requiring refills.
• 90% clinical and 10% administrative tasks. Administrative time is broken down between clinical meetings, EHR/automation product feedback projects, and clinical operations quality improvement projects (1099 has less administrative responsibilities).
• Being responsible for accurately diagnosing patients using detailed patient history-taking and providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Writing efficient encounter visit notes in a clear fashion that demonstrates strong medical decision-making skills, differential diagnoses, and a well-written and relevant care plan.
• Closing all notes by the end of the encounter/visit.
• Staying abreast of EHR feature updates by continuously training and remaining current on the platform.
What You'll Need
• Board Certification in Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine (must be ok with pediatrics). We consider Family Medicine physicians for all shifts but Emergency Medicine Physicians we can only have on overnight shifts.
• Must hold an active license in at least 2 of the following 3 states: California, Texas, Florida
• Must also hold an active license in at least 4 of the following 6 states: Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, South Carolina
• Prior telemedicine experience
• You must also have a clear medical history (no board actions or complaints).
• 5+ years of clinical practice, ideally significant practice or engagement with primary care & pediatrics.
• Digital savviness, excellent typing skills, excellent grammatical construction, and excellent command of English.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure a meaningful and professional patient experience.
Hourly rate is dependent on a scale based on number of licenses and their coverage on our service, and shifts worked. Thus, our hourly rate range is large at $110-135/hr. Benefits listed are for full-time employees only.
