The Physician & APP Advisor will play a critical role in driving candidate engagement, supporting business development efforts, and accelerating placements across all lines of business. This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art San Diego campus, where you’ll help build a high-energy, collaborative team and create an environment centered on connection and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Drive Candidate Placements Across All Lines of Business 
    Proactively match and submit qualified Physician and APP candidates, partner with workforce teams to reduce time-to-start, and support urgent and high-priority staffing needs 
  • Market Candidates Effectively 
    Promote candidate profiles across open roles and client systems, leveraging internal tools and external platforms (including LinkedIn) to maximize exposure and engagement 
  • Lead Generation & Stakeholder Engagement 
    Identify key decision-makers within hospital systems, conduct outreach, and schedule meetings to support pipeline growth and client expansion 
  • Research & Market Intelligence 
    Conduct targeted hospital and healthcare system research to map organizational structures, identify hiring trends, and uncover opportunities for strategic engagement 
  • Support New Contract Acquisition 
    Partner with Business Development teams to identify opportunities, contribute to outreach strategies, and help move prospects through the pipeline toward signed agreements 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience in sales or staffing will also be considered  
  • Minimum of 2+ years of success in a sales or metrics-driven role 
  • New graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis, make your case and show us why you’ll excel 
  • Outside-the-box thinkers 
  • Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Interest in sales, recruiting, or business development 
  • Career oriented with a desire for advancement

  • Aya provides paid sick leave in accordance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws. Aya’s general sick leave policy is that employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. However, to the extent any provisions of the statement above conflict with any applicable paid sick leave laws, the applicable paid sick leave laws are controlling

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $31.25 hourly, which equates to $65,000 plus annually plus bonus.  


The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
