At SimonMed, the Physician Account Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, office staff, and healthcare decision-makers across an assigned territory. This role promotes SimonMed’s imaging services, supports referring providers, and ensures seamless access for patients who depend on timely diagnostic imaging.

This is a high-impact, field-based role where relationship-building, clinical understanding, and proactive outreach directly influence patient access, provider satisfaction, and organizational growth. What You Bring

    Relationship-driven mindset: You build and maintain trusted partnerships with physicians, office staff, and healthcare professionals through consistent, professional engagement in a field-based environment.

    Strong sales and business development skills: You proactively generate new business through cold calling, outreach, territory planning, and in-person or virtual physician office visits.

    Clinical curiosity and product knowledge: You learn and communicate imaging services effectively, delivering in-services and educational materials that support provider decision-making.

    Results-oriented execution: You track performance against goals, manage territory activity, and consistently work toward achieving or exceeding sales targets.

    Market awareness and adaptability: You monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and managed care dynamics to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.

    Collaborative communication: You partner with internal teams including physician relations, operations, and scheduling to ensure smooth service delivery and strong provider experience.

You’re a Strong Fit If You Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
    • 2+ years of sales experience preferred (healthcare or medical sales a plus, but not required)
    • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships in a field-based role
    • Experience with cold calling, prospecting, and territory management
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
    • Understanding of healthcare environments, medical terminology, or imaging services preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel within assigned territory
    • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven approach
