Position Summary
Our Personal Shopper team is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with our Hanna customers. They serve as trusted advisors, offering personalized advice and sharing their expertise on our products, fabrics, sizing, trends, and services. Personal Shoppers work closely with each customer to process orders and create unforgettable, tailored experiences. To excel in this role, they should be creative, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Schedule: Applicants need to be flexible and available during nights and weekends (Pacific Time) to support business hours (Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm PT; Saturday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm PT; Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm PT).
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid) highly preferred or Remote (Pacific Time Zone Hours)
Essential Duties
- Cultivates customer relationships through personalized connections.
- Acquires and builds a customer base primarily through forming relationships with new customers and retaining/building existing customers.
- Ability to strategize own business and be self-motivated; takes initiative to increase productivity through suggestive selling and strong customer relationships
- Achieves personal and business sales goals.
- Provides helpful information to both yourself and customers about merchandise, upcoming events, special promotions, policies, and services.
- Demonstrates expertise in styling and brand knowledge.
- Recommends merchandise based on expert product knowledge and customer preferences.
- Utilizes selling tools and technology to sell across all channels effectively.
- Collaborates with others as needed to deliver the best customer experience.
- Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
- Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company.
- Plan timely and appropriate feedback/follow-up with the Manager as requested.
- Actively embraces Hanna’s spirit of “we’re in this together."
- Additional tasks and responsibilities assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum four (4) years of demonstrable experience as a personal shopper, stylist, or as a retail
- employee or manager.
- Experience in customer service–oriented roles with proven ability to sell products and services.
- Familiar with and able to use mobile technologies.
- Strong knowledge of fashion, keeping up with trends and a knack for styling children's clothing
- Attentive to clients' interests, requests, and boundaries.
- Ability to curate collections that are appropriate for everyday, leisure, and special events.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings,
- weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, e-mail, and internet
- software.
- Demonstrated fluency in the English language. Bilingual Spanish, highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, highly preferred.
- Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
