- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter / Loadrunner for web applications, APIs, and other system components to accurately simulate real-world user behavior and system interactions
- Create and execute various types of performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing
- Monitor and analyze system performance during test execution, identifying bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Product, Development and QA teams to understand application architecture, performance requirements, and potential performance risks
- Generate detailed performance test reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations for performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and debug performance test scripts and environments
- Contributes as a valuable team member in Large Enterprise-Wide Migration initiatives
- Contributes to the development of Performance test philosophies and methodologies. Identifies viable test strategies to support testing product functionality.
- Actively participating in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Be accountable for their assigned work, communicate progress and blockers
- Assists in providing guidance and mentorship for junior-level Performance test Engineers
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ideal Performance test engineer candidate for this position should have strong hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter / Loadrunner specializing in Web UI scripting, handle complex correlations, customize scripts and execute load tests in JMeter / Loadrunner
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics like response time, throughput, error rate, resource utilization
- Knowledge of various protocols like HTTP/S, TCP/IP and their application in performance testing
- Experience with performance monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace and cloud-specific monitoring tools like Azure app insights would be a plus
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques would be a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose performance issues

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering/technical discipline
- Overall, 7-11 years related IT experience
- 5+ years' Performance testing experience in an IT environment with tools JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Experience working in agile scrum teams
- Experience leading, planning, executing and coordinating performance tests for medium to large scale enterprise systems
- Experience in Performance test plan creation, test script creation, load model generation
- Experience with JMeter and LoadRunner is required.
- Experience in using monitoring tools including Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Experience with Dev Ops/Agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes
- Able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
- Experience in REST APIs/ web services using SOAP UI, POSTMAN, SWAGGER, WINSCP, PUTTY, GEMS, XML Spy tools,
