The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Social, Display & Video to lead our visual performance channels—Paid Social, Display, and YouTube—and accelerate growth across both desktop and mobile. You’ll manage a small but impactful team of channel specialists while staying close to the work yourself: shaping strategy, guiding execution, and continuously improving how we acquire and grow customers across key visual surfaces.
You’ll build and scale performance levers through a data-driven creative testing framework, mobile app expansion, and incrementality testing, while owning the desktop acquisition strategy for these channels. You’ll also partner closely with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Creative, and Product Marketing to deliver cohesive, high-impact growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who loves being a working manager—splitting their time between mentoring others and diving deep into performance, experimentation, and analytics.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and mentor 2–3 channel specialists, providing coaching on both channel strategy and career development while remaining a hands-on partner in day-to-day decisions.
- Lead performance strategy and guide on execution across Paid Social, Display, and Video to drive self-serve growth on both desktop and mobile.
- Own the mobile acquisition strategy for visual channels, including measurement, optimization, and experimentation across app campaigns and mobile inventory.
- Build and maintain a data-driven creative testing framework that connects creative concepts to performance outcomes (CAC, LTV, incrementality).
- Develop a unified cross-channel roadmap that aligns testing, budgeting, and learnings across Paid Social, Display, and YouTube.
- Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Creative, and Product Marketing to design experiments, improve attribution and reporting, and translate insights into better creative and channel strategies.
- Monitor and communicate channel performance, surfacing opportunities, risks, and insights to leadership while driving toward LTV/CAC, CPA, and incrementality goals.
- Has 6–8+ years of experience in digital/performance marketing, with deep expertise in Paid Social, Display, and Video across desktop and mobile.
- Proven experience in mobile acquisition and measurement (e.g., app campaigns, MMPs, SKAN, mobile attribution, creative optimization for app growth).
- Demonstrated ability to connect creative, data, and channel strategy to drive measurable business outcomes (LTV/CAC, CPA, incrementality).
- Experience managing and developing a small team, including coaching, feedback, and performance guidance.
- Comfortable as a working manager—able to zoom into platform details, performance diagnostics, and experiment design while owning long-term strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to guide decision-making; familiarity with SQL, experimentation frameworks, and incrementality testing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with major performance platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and working with external partners, vendors, and creative agencies.
- Highly collaborative, with experience partnering cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Data Science, Product, and Engineering.
- Values a data-driven, experiment-oriented working style, embraces continuous improvement, and aligns with our MOVE statements and culture.
