Role Overview

We’re looking for a data-driven Performance Marketing Contractor to support paid media strategy and execution across client accounts and internal initiatives.  This is a flexible, as-needed contractor role ideal for someone who thrives in both strategy and hands-on execution, and is comfortable stepping into active accounts to drive performance quickly.  You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team to optimize and support campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, and other paid social channels.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Execute for campaigns across:
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
    • Microsoft Ads (Bing)
    • Paid social (Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Understand existing keyword strategy, audience targeting, and competitive analysis
  • Execute fixes and on-demand support for clients
  • Optimize campaigns for conversion rate, CPA, and ROAS
Performance Optimization & Reporting
  • Monitor and manage budgets to maximize efficiency and results
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify actionable insights
  • Build and/or contribute to reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio)
  • Maintain strong performance benchmarks (e.g., ROAS targets)
Client & Team Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams (SEO, content, design) to align paid media with broader strategy
  • Support client deliverables as needed (reporting, calls, insights, recommendations)
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years managing paid media campaigns across platforms (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results (leads, revenue, ROAS)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and CRMs (Hubspot / Salesforce)
  • Ability to quickly audit and improve existing campaigns
  • Clear communicator, able to explain performance and recommendations
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

Nice-to-Have:

  • Agency or client-facing experience
  • Experience with B2B, SaaS, or service-based businesses
  • Familiarity with SEO/content marketing integration
Engagement Details
  • Type: Contractor / Freelance (1099)
  • Hours: Flexible, based on client needs
  • Start: As-needed (wwith potential for immediate projects)
