We are looking for a forward-thinking and collaborative People Operations Business Partner to lead and support our organization and drive strategic people-related projects across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about enabling growth, building scalable programs, and driving continuous improvement through special initiatives that align with our organizational goals and values. Additionally, in this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping to drive a positive employee experience, and support organizational effectiveness. You will play a key role in organizational development, fostering a culture of trust and transparency, and supporting talent management strategies that align with our business goals.


Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee issues, providing objective, thoughtful guidance and resolution strategies for the groups assigned.
  • Ensure consistency and legal compliance in the application of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and prepare investigation summaries and reports.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to build high-trust, high-performance environments.
  • Provide coaching to managers on interpersonal, performance, and organizational challenges.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting inclusivity, psychological safety, and accountability.
  • Foster open communication channels across all levels of the organization.
  • Support and help drive performance management, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team on workforce planning, compensation strategy, employee development, and internal mobility strategies.
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of engagement and retention strategies.
  • Interpret and advise on policies and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other People Operations team members to implement and enhance programs across the employee lifecycle.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with managers and subject matter experts to assess training needs and deliver impactful learning solutions.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support cross-functional people projects such as organizational development, culture initiatives, change management efforts, and internal process optimization.
  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, and drive accountability to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging practices to ensure our programs remain innovative and competitive.
  • Partner closely with the broader People Operations team to align L&D strategies with overall talent priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPTD, SHRM-CP, etc.) a plus.
  • 5+ years of HR/People Operations experience
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting sensitive investigations and handling complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with ADP
  • Defense and Aerospace experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience leading strategic projects from ideation through implementation and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful learning solutions at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including People Operations team members, business peers, and support teams, to drive cohesive and aligned people strategies.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams with virtual learning and engagement solutions.
  • Background in change management or organizational effectiveness is highly desirable.

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $95,000-115,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
