The People Compliance Manager is responsible for managing annual global compliance and multiple compliance projects across the People function. This role will lead the development, execution and ongoing governance of employment compliance programs, including immigration, regulatory reporting, audit programs and controls, HR policy governance and workers compensation
.
This role will partner cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-value projects and initiatives, reduce risk and continuously improve compliance and immigration processes. Hands-on experience managing operational compliance programs, third party vendors and ensuring regulatory adherence across high volume, regulated HR processes is required in this role.

What you’ll do:
Manage annual global compliance in partnership with Legal, Payroll, Tax, IT, Finance, HR and other functions
Manage immigration processes and policies in adherence with regulatory laws, and in partnership with an external vendor
Manage compliance projects and implement new practices and procedures to ensure compliance to global standards, laws, and regulations
Regulatory reporting: Manage HR compliance filings (e.g. EEO-1, BLS, VETS, state and country specific reporting) ensuring timeliness, compliance, and audit readiness
Audit programs and controls: Lead HR audit controls and program, track compliance actions, strengthen governance, documentation and internal controls
HR Policy and Handbook Governance: Oversee HR policy and handbook, including policy creation and updates, ensuring all are current with practices and policies documented.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks and standard documentation procedures across HR compliance
Manage external audits (e.g. OFCCP audits)
Manage the annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and associated reporting
Partner with internal teams to develop and promote data reporting process optimization to streamline compliance reporting requirements
Experience you’ll bring:
6+ years of progressive experience in HR compliance, immigration or risk management
You have deep, hands-on experience managing global operational compliance programs, third party vendors and ensuring regulatory adherence across high volume, regulated HR processes
You have experience managing immigration programs
Strong knowledge of US federal and state employment laws and regulations, as well as knowledge of laws and regulations in EMEA and APAC
You have experience managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders
You have experience working in HRIS systems (Workday experience preferred)
Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 6 + of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
Hybrid Work Model: This role follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at our Westlake/Dallas, TX office Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Pay Transparency:
The annual US base salary range for this role is $83,600 - $110,000 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
