Job descriptionWe are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage U.S. payroll operations with a strong focus on certified payroll, prevailing-wage requirements, and compliance. This role will partner closely with Finance and project teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, proper wage classifications, and complete compliance documentation across our U.S. operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
- Maintain employee pay rates, deductions, and payroll records
- Support prevailing-wage and certified-payroll requirements
- Review Davis-Bacon and state/local prevailing-wage classifications
- Coordinate payroll data with project/job costing
- Support payroll audits and compliance documentation
- Support finance admin tasks as needed
- 5+ years in payroll or payroll accounting
- Direct experience with prevailing wages and certified payroll
- Knowledge of Davis-Bacon and state/local wage requirements preferred
- Strong attention to detail and Excel skills
Salary: $92,000 - $106,000
Location: Remote with a strong preference on the East Coast
