The Payroll Business Analyst will support the processing of payroll for all U.S. employees. The position is responsible for analyses of payroll systems to identify potential issues and optimize the efficiency and efforts of the Payroll Operations department; performance of complex payroll tasks, and will serve as a subject matter expert on relevant systems.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, improve and develop significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities to enhance the payroll process
Provide feedback, insight and analysis using expertise in support of system upgrades, enhancements and changes
Partner with other departments and third parties in the support of initiatives involving Payroll Operations
Perform complex tasks requiring critical, independent thinking
Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified Payroll Professional is a plus
At least 5 years of hands-on payroll experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Prior experience with the Workday system is preferred
Proficiency in Kronos/UKG is required
Exceptional technical systems aptitude
Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Self-starter capable of performing daily responsibilities with little guidance or instruction
Exceptional communication, organizational, customer service, interpersonal and analytical skills
