  • Process Optimization and Efficiency: Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the payment flow and drive projects to automate manual tasks, improve processing speed, and reduce overall operational costs.

  • Manage Key Payment Relationships: Assist in managing relationships and operational communications with third-party payment providers, processors, acquiring banks, and payment gateways.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed operational reports on key metrics such as authorization rates, chargeback volumes, fraud trends, and settlement timing, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 2 to 7 years of professional experience specifically within the Payments Industry (e.g., FinTech, acquiring banks, payment processors, or a merchant with a high-volume payment function).

  • Payments Expertise: Must possess a strong foundational understanding of payment methodologies, including authorization, clearing, and settlement for card networks, as well as an understanding of alternative payment methods (e.g., ACH/SEPA/RTP).

  • Technical Acumen: Ability to leverage internal tools, run basic SQL queries (or similar data extraction methods), and analyze large datasets to identify operational trends and root causes of payment failures.
