Job Description SummaryThis role is part of the MR Path to Leadership Initiative. The Global Coils Senior Program Manager is responsible for the management of multi-site, multi-product, projects, programs, and initiatives to execute short and long-term coil operation strategy.  Drive and coordinate execution of coil MFG east/west program, supply base optimization, deliver to approved business case goals. This role will help to build a strong and resilient coil supply chain operations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proficiently manage the complexities associated with coil strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with leadership team about strategy execution
  • Take the overall responsibility of multi supply chain operation programs, execute of coil East/west supply chain strategy, supplier transfer or insource programs. Interacting with cross function team to ensure aligned priority, communicate status, risks/issues and mitigation strategies
  • Embed Lean principles into transformation execution management. Define key process indicators (KPIs) and cascade to cross-functional teams and owners
  • Proactively Identifying trends adverse to action plans; cascade these trends to root causes with proposed solutions; develop and vet business cases for these solutions. Gain project approvals and funding; shepherd projects and their functional owners to successful completion, with validated customer and product benefits. 
  • Drive simplification and innovation to deliver maximum benefit/resource tradeoffs across projects & programs, while building and fostering a culture of continuous reliability & productivity improvement. 
  • Leverages technical skills and analytical thinking to solve problems. Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. 
  • Work close with MR ISC strategy team to continue optimize Global Coils footprint, sourcing, and logistic strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years experience in large scale Project and/or Program mgmt. Or mix of Operational, Engineering, Sourcing, and/or Service experiences acceptable.  
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals with proven success in project management. 
  • Exceptional skills as a change agent, influencer, and process excellence leader. 
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate with employee and customers at all levels. 
  • Excellent team player

Desired Characteristics

  • MBA or master's degree in technical field. 
  • Strong mix of technical and operation acumen, with solid experience in manufacturing/supply chain operations. 
  • Experience in a complex program management environment, including large and small projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise. 
  • Active certification in PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent proven capability 
  • Experience in medical device industry with relevant domain knowledge  

Travel: 15-20%-if in Aurora, OH area, 50% if in Waukesha, WI area
