Partnerships Manager
This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
Bankrate is one of the most trusted names in personal finance, helping millions of people compare rates and make smart decisions about mortgages, savings, and more. Affiliate and publisher partnerships are a direct lever on two of our four strategic priorities: growing Home Lending and scaling private marketplaces through partner monetization. This role owns Bankrate's most strategic partner relationships across Credit Cards, Home Lending, and Deposits — the negotiation, the P&L, and the day-to-day execution that turns a partnership into a durable revenue channel. You'll work cross-functionally while staying hands-on with the partners and deals that move the business most.
What You'll Do:
- Partner ownership: Own day-to-day relationships and performance for high-value affiliate and publisher partners across Credit Cards, Home Lending (Mortgage/HELOC), and Deposits.
- Business development: Lead sourcing and onboarding of new partnerships that expand reach and diversify channel performance.
- Deal negotiation: Negotiate commission structures, placements, and co-marketing initiatives that protect margin while growing volume.
- Performance management: Monitor pacing and ROI, partnering with BI and FP&A on forecasting and performance insight.
- QBRs: Lead quarterly business reviews and performance conversations with priority partners.
- Cross-functional execution: Work with Ad Ops and Marketing Ops to keep campaigns accurate and fulfillment on track.
- Testing & optimization: Identify and drive opportunities to test new placements and formats.
- Process improvement: Build and share best practices that raise the bar for how the team manages partners.
What We're Looking For:
- Partnerships track record: 1–3 years managing affiliate or publisher partnerships against measurable performance goals. Experience in financial services is a plus.
- Negotiation and analytical range: A skilled negotiator with an analytical mindset and genuine partner empathy — you can hold both sides of a deal at once.
- Platform fluency: Experience with affiliate networks, SaaS platforms, or internal tracking systems.
- Stakeholder management: Strong communication and organization skills; comfortable managing multiple partners and internal stakeholders at once.
- Ownership mindset: A self-starter with a performance-first orientation who doesn't wait to be told what's next.
Compensation:
Total Cash Compensation Range: $65,000 – $100,000 per year
Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
- Life Insurance

- 401(k) with match
- Employee Assistance Program
- Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program
- Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential. That's why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy. Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.
Who We Are:
Bankrate is where Americans go to get the best price on life's most important financial decisions. By combining proprietary data, advanced technology, and deep market coverage, Bankrate helps consumers compare options and make confident financial choices across mortgages, credit cards, savings, and more. As a rate provider to the Federal Reserve and the benchmark relied upon by major publishers and policymakers nationwide, Bankrate's rate data is the national standard. This commitment to precision is reflected across all its products. In mortgages, proprietary auction technology puts lenders in real-time competition on price alone, consistently delivering rates in the lowest 10% in the country. For deposits, the platform features exclusively top-tier rates in the top 10% nationally, while its credit card coverage encompasses more than 90% of the market by volume. Founded by a journalist, Bankrate remains dedicated to its founding mission of transparency, honest information, and real competition — helping to make the American dream more affordable for everyone.
